Super zuke! Plus, GRAND Social No. 167 link party for grandparents

Super zuke!

I'm not the greatest at gardening, but before I left to visit Bubby, Mac, and Jak nearly two weeks ago, I did notice I had a few zucchini growing in my garden. They weren't all that big, so I decided to just let them grow while I was away.

From the looks of this one, I probably should have pulled it before I left:

Bud held up the super zuke for me to photograph before he, Brianna, and Patrick added it to their cache of camping food for their final camping trip of the summer. Their plan was to slice the zuke, toss it in olive oil and spices, wrap that up in foil packets and grill them over the campfire to go with dinner one night.

I have a feeling the super zuke provided enough goodness for a few night's dinners, not just one. Good thing Bud likes zucchini!

GRAND Social No. 167

Thank you for joining me for this week's GRAND Social! I'm so glad you're here.

As always, please share links to your blog posts and visit a few of the posts of those who shared theirs (commenting on them would be grand, too, if you have time). Naturally, you need not leave a link below to read the posts of the grandparent bloggers!

Cheers to sharing, reading, commenting, socializing!

How it works:

  • All grandparent bloggers are invited to add a link. You don't have to blog about grandparenting, just be a grandparent who blogs.
  • To link up a post, copy the direct URL to the specific post — new or old — that you want to share, not the link to your blog's home page. Then click the blue button below marked "Add your link" and follow the directions.
  • Adding a mention such as This post linked to the GRAND Social to your linked posts is appreciated. Or, you can post the GRAND Social button anywhere on your page using the following code:
<a rel="nofollow" href="/" target="blank"><img src="http://grandmasbriefs.squarespace.com/storage/GRANDsocialbutton.jpg" alt="Grandma’sBriefs.com" width="125" height="125" /></a>
  • The GRAND Social linky accepts posts through Wednesday evening, so please come back to see those added after your first visit.
  • If you're not a blogger, you have the pleasure of being a reader. Those sharing a link would be honored to have you visit, read and, if so moved, leave a comment even if just "Hey, stopping by from the GRAND Social." Bloggers who link are encouraged to visit and comment on the links of other bloggers, as well.
  • Adding your link adds you to my weekly email reminder the GRAND Social is live. Feel free to unsubscribe from that email if you no longer wish to receive reminders.
