Sunrise season

Fall is pretty much my very favorite season here in Colorado. There are many reasons, but one big one is that the autumn months offer the the most colorful, most memorable sunrises of all the seasons.

To prove my point, here's a sampling of sunrises I've shot just since fall's official arrival September 22:

And those aren't even all I've taken so far... and certainly won't be all I do through the end of sunrise season.

Colorado may not have the brilliant colors of the changing leaves that many regions of the country do. But the sunrises we see serve as pretty darn good consolation, in my eyes.
