S'more boys

It's often impossible to ignore the lure of advertising. I hereby plead guilty to falling for such when packing my grandma bag for this week's desert visit with my grandsons.

The siren call I couldn't help but heed? Those current ads running in magazines, online and elsewhere for all the fixin's for s'mores. Yes, I'm talking graham crackers, marshmallows and chocolate.

The ads reminded me I have a clever little s'more maker that makes it simple to create s'mores in the microwave. (Thanks, Mom!). A maker that seemed ideal — along with those fixin's — for packing into my grandma bag.

Ideal they were, as you can see from my grandsons' enjoyment of making then nibbling on the sweet, sticky, marshmallowy goodness.
