Our final grandchild has arrived!

Introducing Robert Allen, son of our oldest daughter Brianna and her husband Patrick, baby brother to Benjamin and James.

Robert—named after Jim’s middle name and whom I’ll likely call Robbie more often than not—was born November 23 at 9:56 am. He weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces and measured 19.5 inches long (though it’s now believed he was mismeasured at delivery and was actually 19 inches at birth).

 
 

Jim and I first met him Monday evening, via FaceTime as Covid restrictions limit hospital visitors …

 
 

Then we got to hold the itsy bitsy babe during a brief visit to his house the day after Thanksgiving.

 
 

Such a precious punkin’.

That’s it, folks! No more grandchildren for us, as Brianna, Megan, and Andrea declare their families complete (and the measures have been made to ensure that’s the case).
