Here and now: September 10, 2015

My life...

clock and book

On my mind...

The fact I first absentmindedly wrote the title above with the year of 2001. September and that year will be forever linked, forever unforgettable.

Reading...

Still enjoying a few pages of "Circling the Sun" by Paula McLain each night before falling asleep.

Watched...

Thanks to Fox Home Entertainment, Jim and I had the opportunity this past week to binge watch for free the entire fourth season of Showtime's Homeland (which is now available on Blu-ray and DVD).

We're now pretty psyched for season 5 of Homeland, which premieres October 4 on Showtime.

Working on...

Figuring out the best camera settings and such to best capture the "super moon" appearing in the night sky September 27. I'm determined to get it right this time. Fingers crossed!

Listening to...

Jim listening to the Rolling Stones' "Fool to Cry" in the other room on his iPhone.

Looking forward to...

Cooler weather. I've had enough of temps above 80 degrees. C'mon fall!

The last photo on my phone...

Jim captured this of Christine Crosby of GRAND Magazine and me meeting in person for the first time. Christine and her delightful husband, Jonathan, passed through Colorado yesterday and took time from their packed travel itinerary to meet Jim and me for lunch. They're gracious and motivated fellow grandparents Jim and I hope to see more of!

Today's question:

What makes the list in your here and now?
