What's happening...

On my mind...

Coloring. I've decided to try my hand at the kids' activity that's now (apparently) for adults. I have an adult coloring book and a box of 64 colored pencils awaiting me once I've finished this post. Will I scribble outside the lines? Will I find peace and tranquility? I'll keep ya posted.

Listening to...

Beth Hart—whom I'll be seeing in concert in September, thanks to a birthday gift from Jim. I have a feeling I'll cry. I love her. She speaks to my soul. I've played this one, "Might As Well Smile," a few times today (well, yesterday, since I write my posts the day before):

Watching...

Tonight I'll be watching BIG EYES. It just might be featured as my Saturday movie review.

Working on...

Watching films as a member of the group previewing selections for the Rocky Mountain Women's Film Festival scheduled for November. I'm honored and delighted to have been invited to take part in this. You know how I love movies!

Looking forward to...

Returning to the desert exactly one week from today. With PawDad. This trip was planned a few months ago unlike the unexpected (and exciting) impromptu trip I made last week, thanks to Megan and Preston needing someone to watch the boys while they moved to a new house. I'm excited to see what they've done to the place since I flew home this past Tuesday.

The last photo I took...

I'm gonna cheat here and not share the last photo I took (it was for a campaign promo). Instead, I'll share this one taken with my RealPad—one of the last ones I took of Jak while in the desert. He's looking out the patio door at his new yard, and I love that I unintentionally caught his reflection in the picture.

Today's question:

What's happening in your here and now?
