Funeral finery

My dad's funeral service was held last Friday. The Sangre de Cristo mountain range towering over Westcliffe and adjacent Silver Cliff — Dad's official town of residence — dressed in its most impressive best for the occasion.

I can't imagine a more fitting farewell from the peaks for the man who loved the place so.

The day proved a magnificent final Rest in Peace declaration to my dad — from nature as well as fine friends and family.
