Creating catapults

If you're looking for a super easy but super fun activity to do with the grandkids, try this one I did with Bubby and Mac last week: catapults!

Following (for the most part) the easy instructions from Kids Activities Blog, Bubby and Mac had their very own catapults done and ready for catapulting in no time.

Cotton balls served as high-flying ammunition indoors. The real fun, though, was when they took their catapult creations outdoors to use their imagination (and rocks) to protect the fort we'd made the day before from a super-sized cardboard box.

Creating catapults was pretty much the most successful craft of our recent time together. I highly recommend giving it a shot.
