My husband and I watched an incredible documentary yesterday called A BRAVE HEART: THE LIZZIE VELASQUEZ STORY, courtesy a free, no-obligation screener from the filmmakers. It's the amazing, heartbreaking, inspiring, uplifting story of a young woman who wouldn't let bullying and hatefulness get her down, but used it to spiral to a powerful position of helping lift and support others.

I had seen snippets of Ms. Velasquez's story before but had no idea until viewing the film the depth and importance of who she is, what she's done, and what she continues to do to help end bullying. She's amazing. She's brave. She's unforgettable.

The film opened Friday in select theaters, On Demand and iTunes Movies.
