Sole model
My daughter Megan has a great resource for buying and selling used goods. It's a Facebook community group called Swip Swap, and all those buying and selling are located in her community. You post something for sale or something that you want, and in no time there's a swap going on between folks mere minutes apart.
Megan has bought and sold quite a bit through Swip Swap. Saturday evening she texted me a photo of some great running shoes she wondered if I'd want that were just $10. I said, "Sure!" She said, "Sold!"
Soon after, she had the goods in hand and sent me this photo of Jak modeling Gramma's new K-Swiss size 7.5 running shoes:

I put a lot of thought, time, and energy—and sometimes money, too—into coming up with creative and enjoyable crafts, games, and activities to pack into my grandma bag for visits with my grandsons.
It's not necessary. At least not all ways, it seems. Bubby taught me that when I visited him and his brothers in mid-July.
"Wanna play war, Gramma?" Bubby asked while holding a deck of cards. I considered the crafting supplies in my grandma bag, the games I wanted to review with him and the books I hoped to read.
"Sure," I said.
So we did. And had a super time!
Bubby didn't know all the rules, had only played hands—not full...
A grand ONE!
Seems not that long ago that I announced my third grandson had arrived. Yet it was long ago—a full year tomorrow, to be exact.
Tomorrow, Baby Jak will be one year old! Not so much a baby anymore.
Happy first birthday to silly—and strong-headed—Jak! Gramma...
Baby Jak will be one year old June 16. (Crazy, right!?) As PawDad was instrumental in getting Bubby walking steady—this, mere days before his first birthday—Jim was determined to have Jak walking steady before he left the desert, before Jak's upcoming birthday.
