Thank you to all who entered by linking to GRAND Social No. 100!

Hooray, hooray! Today is GRAND Social No. 100. That's ONE HUNDRED link parties just for grandparent bloggers, hosted right here on Grandma's Briefs.

Last week I mentioned I'd find a special way to commemorate the milestone. I believe I've found something befitting the occasion — as well as my affection for alliteration. I'm calling it...

One hoya for one hundred!

See, my lovely heirloom hoya recently began its annual flowering.

I love this amazing plant that has a scent like nothing I've ever smelled before. Powerful stuff released every evening. Take a close look at this flower, at the bubbles of pleasing perfume nearing the bursting point:

I've shared clippings from my hoya plant with my mom and my oldest and youngest daughters, and I'll be bringing tiny pots for Bubby and Mac when I visit them in June.

As many Grandma's Briefs readers were interested in my post about the  hoya Jim and I inherited with our home, I'd now like to share a hoya clipping or two with one lucky GRAND Social participant! To celebrate us reaching 100... together! For without those of you who link, there would be no GRAND Social. So thank you!

It will work like this: Links shared today will be numbered, so each link added to the GRAND Social is an entry (remember, you can add up to three). Links can be added until midnight MDT Wednesday, and I will pick a winner via random.org on Thursday. I will then send hoya clippings to the winner via two-day shipping (it will survive, I promise; hoyas are surprisingly hearty!), along with care instructions.

Hooray for 100! And hoyas! And the incredible grandmas and grandpas who share their work in the weekly GRAND Social! I ♥ each and every one of you!

Now have at it!

link party

How it works:

  • All grandparent bloggers are invited to add a link. You don't have to blog about grandparenting, just be a grandparent who blogs.

  • To link up a post, copy the direct URL to the specific post — new or old — that you want to share, not the link to your blog's home page. Then click the blue button below marked "Add your link" and follow the directions.

  • You can add up to three posts, but no duplicates, contests, giveaways, or Etsy sites, please.

  • Adding a mention such as This post linked to the GRAND Social to your linked posts is appreciated. Or, you can post the GRAND Social button anywhere on your page using the following code:

  • The GRAND Social linky accepts posts through Wednesday evening, so please come back to see those added after your first visit.

  • If you're nota blogger, you have the pleasure of being a reader. Those sharing a link would be honored to have you visit, read and, if so moved, leave a commenteven if just "Hey, stopping by from the GRAND Social." Bloggers who link are encouraged to visit and comment on the links of other bloggers, as well.
