Therafit Clarissa sneakers ideal for fun in the sun
One of the best things we can do to combat cabin fever while avoiding all the crud swirling about the closed spaces of our communities is head outdoors for some fun in the sun.
I recently received a pair of Therafit Clarissa Women’s Wide Width Athletic Sneakers free for review, providing the perfect reason to do exactly that.
I thought the Therafit Clarissa Sneakers (msrp $159.95) were stylish right out of the box. What first struck me was how they did not look wide and bulky as wide-width shoes often do. I immediately liked how they looked on my tootsies, too.
Though the sneakers looked good and weren’t bulky, they did feel a tad hard in the sole and not as comfy as I’d hoped. Thankfully Therafit shoes feature the patented “Personalized Comfort System” wherein three adapters in the sole of each shoe can be removed according to what feels best for you.
So I removed one … then two … then all three, walking about to test the impact with each removal, finally settling on taking out all three adapters.
Once comfortably adjusted to provide the perfect spring in my step, I was off and running.
Well, walking … with my dog. Even Callie was impressed with the stylish sneakers.
Fun in the sun in my sporty sneakers continued with a park visit with grandson Benjamin, where we put our best foot forward …
and took a break or two together on a park bench.
A quick spin on my bike confirmed my Therafit Clarissa sneakers will be my go-to shoe when pedaling about throughout the spring and summer to come.
My Top 5 Favorite Things About Therafit Clarissa Wide Width Athletic Sneaker:
They don’t look obnoxiously wide … yet feel wide and roomy inside.
The Clarissa sneakers are quite stylish, available in three color combos: charcoal/pink (like mine), grey/teal, black/teal.
The fit. The sneakers are available in half sizes. I ordered 7.5 and they were perfect, unlike the pair of Therafit casual shoes I previously reviewed.
The breathable fabric. I cannot stand it when my feet get hot and sweaty. Hasn’t happened yet in the Clarissa sneakers, regardless of my activity level or hours in the sun (and sand at the park).
The technology focused on shoes created to keep feet healthy.
