The Saturday Post: 10 time-saving tips worth learning edition

I've gotten in the habit of sharing on Fridays what I learned during the week. I didn't do that yesterday, having chosen to share this instead.

So today I will share one thing I learned this week. Actually, I'm feeling extra generous (and extra learned) and will share with you 10 things I learned this week. I have no doubt you will learn something from this, too.

There you have it. Now we all learned (at least) 10 things this week!

    Today's question:

Which of the 10 tips in the video are you most likely to use to save time? (Me, I like the space bar instead of a scroll bar tip.)

Have answering machines really been around for 45 years? We must have been late adopters of that technology, because I do not remember them that early.

Ginger Kay: I thought the same thing and was going to reply to your comment with, "I'm sure he's just being sarcastic." But I fact-checked first, and according to Wikipedia, the first commercial answering machine was used in 1949. And they were invented in 1898. Who knew?? Apparently he did. (Here's the Wikipedia link, if you're craving more info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Answering_machine.)

Thanks for the tips! I can certainly use any and all tips regarding computer use.

Like you, I love the space-bar tip.

GASP! You mean I can just press the space bar on my Android instead of toggling back and forth? Who'd have thunk it?

Thanks for sharing some great tips!!

Thanks for sharing....I must be a newby to technology because I didn't know about alot of those tips! I love the space-bar tip too.

I knew many but not all of these! I think I KNEW about the space bar but forgot - definitely going to remember it now! One I would add -- while you can "tab" through a form if you need to back up just "shift + tab". That one comes in handy! Happy Saturday!
