    Photo replay: No more grandbabies

How can this be? I have no more grandbabies!

With Mac's graduation from the crib to a converted bed this past week, I no longer have grand babies, only grand big boys.

    Precious... yet bittersweet.

    Today's question:

When did you last rock a baby to sleep?

He looks like a big boy now. Gee, they grow so very fast!

Seems like he spent almost no time being a baby! Looks awfully cute, though.

I rocked little Maci Ann to sleep in February when Susan and I went to see her in Denver.

I guess now I'll have to call Baby Mac just Mac! He is so cute.

It's been years since I rocked a baby to sleep. My son and his wife are expecting a baby in early August so I'll get to rock a baby soon!

It must have been when we had to take him to the ER back in August. We're not graduating to a big boy bed for a while. I like having him confined. How terrible am I? ;)

Rocked my 3 month old niece to sleep a few weeks ago, felt like a very lucky aunt! I hate how fast it goes!

The photo of him waving should be on the cover of a magazine. Too sweet and utterly precious.

Gamma, methinks you need a cup of....a margarita!

    Love this post....

It's been way too long since I've rocked a baby to sleep- but on the bright side, they're still nowhere near ::shudder:: puberty yet either. ; ) BB2U

Aww, I remember when my Little Man graduated up to a big boy bed...he was still a baby but he was a climber so the big boy bed was much safer.

Love the images of you all rocking the babes! I like rocking even the big-boy babes to sleep (or at least close to it), so I look forward to rocking one or both grandsons in just a few weeks. Yeah!

Debbie: I'm so excited for you! I know you've been yearning for a second grandchild for YEARS now!

Pammeey: Nothing wrong with keeping them confined... and safe. :-D

Cathy: YES! Bring on the margaritas. (And I'll take more than "a cup," please.)

I'm smiling here thinking that this past Saturday evening my grandson was sitting on my lap and his legs were almost touching the floor. Kind of hard to snuggle with a grandbaby that is now over 4' tall. I miss rocking a baby, but I'd better get over it and enjoy video gaming and shooting hoops. :)

I am just amazed at how quickly the boys are growing. Amara, too! She had another growth spurt and if she stands on her toes she is taller than her best friend's Mom! I must admit I do miss having a baby to rock to sleep...

I comforted a baby to sleep a couple weeks ago. Bliss!
