Photo replay: Desert sunset
Sunday, March 10, 2013 It's been bone-chillingly cold at my place all weekend. The low temps and high winds have made me long to visit my grandsons in the desert. Not just because Bubby and Mac warm my heart, though, but also because chilly evenings there look like the photo below, which I took from their back yard in January.
It was colder during my January visit than any other time I've been to the desert, yet it was still far more colorful and warm than the whistling, windy, white weather here at home the last couple days.
Best wishes to you for a warm, cozy, and colorful Sunday!

Thank you for the beautiful pic and the cozy wishes.
Hoping all the rain in Chicago today will wash away the snow...
Beautiful sunset picture. I am so glad to see the sunshine this morning after seeing nothing but snow coming down all day yesterday.
What a beautiful sunset. I am sending you a little bit of our sunshine -- it is supposed to be 78 today! They even said on the news this AM that Spring was coming 10 days early! Yeah!!!
Glorious picture...and glorious sunshine on all our snow here in mountaneous Woodland Park, Colorado. May we, you and me, get some thawing today. Happy Sunday all!
Texas is already in full blown spring. My blood is so thin, I can't imagine living anywhere else in the winter.
Beautiful photo Lisa.
Hope you had a wonderful Sunday. Monday in New Zealand, Lucy & Bella at school.
I've only been once, but the desert in winter is spectacular. Though I know the weather is not the main attraction for you.
Whenever I visit my parents in Phoenix, I'm always mesmerized by the beautiful desert sunsets too. Thanks for sharing this one. And since it's Monday now - I"ll send a Happy Monday wish back at 'ya.
