    New jams

Bubby and Mac got new jammies over the weekend. Of course, they wanted to show Gramma their cool new sleepwear via text messages from Mommy.

Mac points out the ball on his:

And Bubby points out the, well, Bubby's just a nut.

New jammies are always cause for celebration. Which means it's...

    ...time for a jammies dance!

It's the little things that make one's day.

    For some, that means jammies.

For others, that means cute photos and videos of goofy little grandsons via text messaging.

(Wondering about those videos? I jazzed them up using the Vibop app.)

    Today's question:

    What's your favorite sleepwear?

Love those videos. You always find the coolest apps!

My favorite sleepwear? I plead the 5th on this one...

I'm with NonnieKelley on taking the 5th!

But if I had cool new jams like those I would probably dance, too! Love the videos!!! Love the dance!

Ha! I wondered about asking that question, if it was a tad too personal. But, I'll tell you my jammies: I have super soft black-with-tiny-white-polka-dot jammies—crop pants and cap sleeve with a V-neck lined with lace. Very pretty, very comfy, and purchased JUST SO I'D be comfortable wearing them in front of the grandsons and their daddy (Megan has seen me in jammies of all sorts, so she wasn't the concern). I love my jammies. I do dance in them—when no one is looking or videotaping. :-D I have others that I love, too, as jammies are my favorite attire, but none more than these.

I'm glad Megan teaches her boys to be happy, even exuberant, about simple things; they do have so much to celebrate. And, they do it so cutely. Thanks for sharing their "happy".

Mine, varies according to the weather but, I've never been that happy when getting ready for bed; it usually involves sort of dragging into the sleepy place, with two dogs and two cats.

    A. I also dance like that whenever I get new jammies.
    B. I'm so happy you told me about that app.
    C. I will never allow Mitch to record MY jammie dance and put it on the internet. :-)

Oh that was soooo cute! Loving the new jammies and especially that dance :) Thanks for sharing the app too!

My jammies are never that exciting (my favorite thing is just to hop into bed still wearing my t-shirt), but I love the way kids like their jammies and are ready to celebrate nearly anything.

    Lovely photo and video Lisa.

Like NonnieKelly if I was American I would plead the 5th.

What is your favourite sleep wear Lisa?

I am so grateful to the technology gods that we get to be parents and grandparents in an age where jammies can be shared with grandma and her online friends. This is beyond adorable and how lucky are we that we get to share it with you.

Who would have guessed that so many grandmas sleep sans sleepwear! We're quite a racy bunch!

One of my blogging friends -- can't remember which one -- keeps a supply of jammies at her house in all different sizes. When the grandkids come to stay, they love picking out some jammies to wear. I'm going to be on the lookout for some good sales so that I can do the same!

Susan, isn't it great to know that when we become grandma's we can still be racy :)

Wonderful photos and videos! This time of year I live in my boxers and tees. Winter in New England has me curled up in soft, cozy fleece jammies! I am a self professed jammie addict! - Lorna/Raising Aaron
