One-word Wednesday: Snow
Wednesday, July 25, 2012 Snow!
Well, that cooled me down a bit. I hope it did you, too. (Pretend you didn't just read that, though, for I'm supposed to be writing only one word. I simply couldn't resist.)
Today's fill-in-the-blank:
If I had awakened to snow this morning, I would _____________.

Scream!
No, not yet.
QMM
I would be screaming so loud you would never even hear Nonnie Kelly! I moved from Michigan to get away from snow. I enjoy seeing it in the distance on the mountains and that is as close to snow as I ever want to get again. EVER!
Shriek!!
My noise would be the ultra-soprano with the Scream Chorus from the girls above; we have too much heat right now but I remember too well the cold, ice, and struggles to drive during the winters in Colorado.
Wow! I would gather up the colorful felt snowman scarves and black painted rock eyes that went unused last winter, run to the grocery store for "snowman noses" and then call the grandkids to gather in my front yard for a snow-family making party! Would we be able to do this wearing summer playclothes or would it be cold too? You didn't clarify THAT part, Lisa! LOL
So funny!! All you screaming grandmas sure make for an amusing image in my head! I'm with you, Joyce, let the others shriek while we play. I would be thrilled if I had found snow out my window this morning. And, yes, we could play in it in our summer clothes. All the better for cooling us down!
Dance a jig. Yes, I would. In my pj's. On my lawn. For all the neighbors to see.
Well, I guess I would have walked the dog wearing boots and gloves instead of shorts. :)
It was actually a lot cooler this morning after some rain last night, so I will be happy with that for now......the snow will come soon enough.
Amazed as it doesn't usually snow in Wellington.
I would have laughed hysterically, because we live in Southern California!! I grew up in northern Illinois though, so every small once in awhile I miss the snow!!
I would have gone back to bed, and tried getting up again. We have a long winter here in NH so I really enjoy the summer - heat or no heat. I don't have to shovel heat just find some shade.
Faint! It's only snowed once here in the past 100 years.
