Oh, the horrors of Gramma's house

Believe it or not, Gramma had the nerve to serve strawberries—strawberries, mind you!—to Baby Mac with his breakfast yesterday.

    Oh, the humanity.

    Today's question:

What food elicits from you an expression similar to Mac's?

That is exactly the face Amara made when she was about that same age and Grampy got her to put a cherry tomato in her mouth and bite down! I wasn't sure she would ever forgive him so I hope Baby Mac doesn't hold this against you!

The funniest thing after she bit into the tomato was how her mouth went into a perfect circle as she tried to get every part of it as far away from the tomato as possible.

I feel that way about Brussels Sprouts. My son, who is 30 now, used to make the exact same face when served cherries. He still doesn't like them.

What a cute face! OMG I love those pictures!

He's apparently totally comfortable with showing exactly about his food! Pretty cute.

I'd make that face if I had to eat oysters.

Those photos are so hilarious. I make those same expressions when I see my granddaughter put salt on a lemon or lime and eat it!

I can't think of a thing! I like pretty much everything even if I can't eat it. Maybe beer? don't care for beer.

All seven of my grandchildren love strawberries--about the only food they agree on. I can't think of a food that I won't eat except fast food fried chicken.

Oh, my. That is some face cute as it is. Strawberries do not have that effect on anyone in my family.

Olives. I'm gagging a little just thinking about them.

Baby Mac is certainly very good at 'expressing' himself. I love the look on his face! I guess nearly that reaction when I suggest Chinese food to my 5 year old granddaughter. We were going out to dinner the other night and pulled into a parking lot with the Pizza place we were going to eat at plus a Chinese restaurant. She exclaimed, "Oh Come-On Nanny! Not Chinese Food!"

She would gladly eat Baby Mac's strawberries for breakfast though :-)

LOL! This is so funny! I love strawberries but I can see how they could taste a little strange to a baby.

Hey, Lisa, did you drop Blogher ads?? Give me the scoop!
