The Saturday Post: Tap Pups wannabe edition

In my next life, I want to be a tap dancer.

Actually, forget the next life—I want to learn to tap dance in the second half of this life! And I want to be part of something just like this in order to do that:

Not gonna happen though, as Tap Pups classes take place in a land far, far away. Meaning, Pennsylvania. But, that high-energy, toe-tapping woman does sell videos. So I'm seriously considering buying one...and maybe the portable tap floor, too. (Or I may just ask for both—and tap shoes!—for my next birthday. Take note, Jim...daughters...grandsons.)

    Today's question:

Do you tap dance? And whether you do or not, what kind of dancing do you enjoy most?

I love all kinds of dance, two step, waltz, polka, jitter bug, bop, twist but I LOVE TAP.. I've forgotten my 'tap' but I did 'tap' when I was young...
Oh how I'd love to TAP again....

I most like to watch Irish dancing as in River walk but it's all out for me to do personally (both sides of me don't keep up with the other side since my stroke). Used to be pretty good at it, especially the polka. Ah, memories.

My Mom and one of my sisters took up tap in the 80's via the Bonny Hunt tap videos. They got pretty good, bought the shoes, performed at family dinners. I remember my Mom banging, I mean tapping around our house REALLY early in the morning in the weekends.

I don't tap dance but it would be great exercise! I can hula and I love all kinds of dance and am willing to try anything.

No tap dancing for me, although I do have excellent rhythm! My downstairs neighbors, however, might get a bit cranky.
I do enjoy just letting loose and dancing to something that moves me, like the Rolling Stones or a little Motown.

Haven't tap danced in at least 40 years, but what fun! Hubby and I tried ballroom dance lessons 3 separate times, but decided our marriage was more important than dance classes..so we quit:)

I'm with Terri, I just like to cut loose on occasion. Footloose!

I used to tap dance when I was young and I think it would be a blast to do again! I have to see if I can talk my daughter into joining me -- maybe all 3 generations. How fun would that be?

Can imagine you tap dancing, look forward to seeing the video of you Lisa.

When I was young used to learn ballet. Think I would like to be able to do it again. Now I will watch others dance.

I bought tap shoes a year ago, plus a tap CD. Haven't actually done it yet...trying to figure out whether I dare dance on my already somewhat damaged wood floor. I love my shoes, and I really do intend to use them.

We love polka, two-step, and waltz. No tap for me, but it would be fun.
