    Grandma told ya so...

Remember this picture of Baby Mac I posted on February 12?

At that time, I said I thought Mac would be running marathons by the time I saw him again in April.

Well, he's clearly one step closer. Get a load of this cell-phone video Megan texted to proud PawDad and Gramma on Tuesday:

Today, March 1, Baby Mac is 9 months old. And he's walking. In addition, he has both front teeth on the bottom, and he's working on his first front tooth on the top.

What is up with this kid?

I'm a little scared to mention it for fear this prediction might come true, too, but I think Baby Mac just might be caught up and ready to enter kindergarten at the very same time as big brother Bubby.

The voting continues: If you liked this post—or Grandma's Briefs in general—please vote for Grandma's Briefs in the About.com Favorite Grandparent Blog poll. Vote once per day through March 21. Thank you!

    Today's question:

When and where did you last go for a walk, for pleasure or exercise?

Aww...Baby Mac is nearly running now...so adorable! Should I confess the thing on the wall made me nervous? Electrical outlet? Cable outlet? What is it?! Is this a 'normal' Grandma response? :o)

Can't even remember the last time that I took a walk. Tech problems have kept me glued to the chair.

NonnieKelly: Ha! Look closely--the outlet has the safety plugs in. :-)

Whew...thanks for letting me know! Five levels in my glasses and still can't see a thing despite nose up to screen:):)

Can now move forward with my day...minus worry for Baby Mac marathon runner. lololol

Big Mac is superbaby and I love those chubby little legs! I think second children develop faster than first. My grand-niece is 9 months old too and she just started walking. She has two older siblings and I feel she started walking to just keep up with them!

I haven't been on a really good walk in a while. I've been doing alot of subbing and I'm waiting for this awful wind to calm down. Now I hear we are getting some snow and more wind for Friday around here. Hurry up Spring!

I think Baby Mac is just saying, "I am", I said.'

He adores Bubby and is anxious to be with him at everything, he knows he's got three whole years to make up for.

WOW! Nine months? Amazing! And what a cutie pie! Thanks for sharing these moments with us, my friend. Precious!

I actually took a walk this morning. I've been trying to take a walk every day, but have actually managed 4 to 5 mornings a week, which is pretty good! I don't know if it's helping my back much, but it sure does help my outlook.

Have a super day, Grandma Lisa! HUGSSSS

He is so cute Lisa, can't believe that he's nine months already. Time just flies by.

We live on a step hills I walk most nights unless its blowing a gale or raining. Have a view of the harbour, it is cruise season in New Zealand & it is a wonderful sight seeing the cruise ships docked. Normally walk listening to my music on my mp3 player, sing at the top of my voice - pity the poor people that may walk pass me, as I've been told regularly I can't sing!

Lisa! Your grandboys are beautiful. My last walk was two nights ago with my husband along Braes Bayou in Houston, with our ginormous old yellow lab, Cowboy. :)

WOW, Lisa! My second grandson will be a year old this month and he is still crawling and only has two teeth! He is definitely behind schedule but all babies develop at different paces so I'm sure he'll catch up. MY DIL isn't too anxious for him to walk as she knows that is when the 'getting into mischief" trouble will begin..lol He already likes to get into the refrigerator and kitchen drawers and take everything out.

My son walked at 7 months, and the terrible thing about those little walkers is that they have absolutely no sense! They can walk under tables, and straight into stuff. Careful though, he'll probably be climbing the furniture by 12 months! He's adorable.

You did get lucky and get 2 very cute boys! Megan is going to be in serious trouble when they hit teen age.

I used to walk LOTS but now not so much. There is a mailbox 2 blocks from us and I walk to it twice a week! That counts!

The second one has to keep up with the first one, you know! Doesn't want to miss a thing! What a cute video...I love the way he inches his way along the wall. Adorable!
