I spy with my little eye

While visiting my grandsons a few weeks ago, I took 1,308 photos. Seriously. Not all were of my grandsons, though.

Here are examples of what I shot when my camera wasn't focused on Baby Mac and Bubby—all taken while in the back yard with the boys, except the fourth, which was taken on our walk to the nearby park (and all straight out of the camera, no editing):

    Today's question:

What did you most recently take photos of?

Great pictures Lisa! Love the bee shot, very cool! I took a couple pictures yesterday for my photo a day in February project, one of the mall (which I didn't use) and one of traffic signals (which I did).

It's obvious you are one of those people with an eye for beauty and natural talent at photography. I am not one of those people.

My most recent attempt at photography was at my Granddaughter's last dance competition. I'm confident we'll still recognize the arms in 20 years. Let's hope so anyway since once again I managed to cut off most of the faces.

Since I've been told that I'm no longer allowed to have the camera...do you think you could come shoot the pics for our next 'big' family event? You make even the simplest things look breathtaking!!!

I love the last one! A beautiful sunset (or is it a sunrise?)!

You are doing a wonderful job with your new camera, Lisa! The flowers are so vibrant and that pink sky is magnificent! I can't believe you took so many photos....lol...my computer back up would explode if I tried to download so many photos at one time.

I'm always taking photos of things ..I took photos a a new food emporium that recently opened in Brooklyn until the manager yelled at me that "no photos were allowed." I never understand why some public places won't allow photography?

Great shots and aren't you glad you don't have to pay to have them all developed??!!! I would be poverty stricken by now!

Last picture I took was last night of Shebee our black cat sitting on my keyboard while I tried to finish my post for AmaraLand! She will sit there and be very polite -- unless I try to type. I have lots of wounds!

You have always said you wanted to be a photographer...well, you ARE one and a good one; I'm not. Lovely pictures!

Those are beautiful photos! The camera you have must be awesome. I have a small, older digital camera so I don't take alot of pictures anymore. The last time I took pictures was at Christmas.

Wow, Lisa, they're fantastic! I especially like the bee and the sunset. They turned out really great with no editing! The last thing I took a picture of was my Valentine's flowers.

The last thing I photographed was some food, just because there's a photo contest this month whose theme is food. I don't have a winner yet.

Absolutely stunning photos Lisa, you are such a natural photographer, thank you for sharing them with us.

The latest photos that I took was of a cheetah that was on TV. Lucy loves them, I paused the TV & snapped away with my cellphone. The quality is amazing & detail of its face is beautiful.

Beautiful pictures. I love the sunset picture. My most recent pictures have been of granddaughters. I took the oldest to Disneyland and got some nice shots. Then I went and took more pictures of the baby.

Beautiful pictures Lisa. My most recent picture was one today of my grandson's black eye. Not near as beautiful as what you have shown us here.

    Gorgeous photos!

I recently took photos of the ladies who came to my house for my 4th annual hat party. I opened my closet to share hats and everybody brought their favorites to share. It's a fund-raiser for church, started when friends kept asking me how many hats I have. "Oh, not that many. A stack. They all fit on half a shelf in my closet. Maybe 40." "Carol, you have a lot of hats!"
