    Photo replay: Little hunters

Bubby and Mac hunt for ants:

    October 6, 2012

And, yes, that is indeed a ring-toss ring on Bubby's head and a pair of play tongs on Mac's neck—the most fashionable of this year's hunting gear.

    Enjoy your Sunday!

Everybody knows that, when you are hunting with a magnifying glass, you have to dress the
    appropriate part. Cute picture.

You picture just made me laugh. My Granddaughter runs shrieking from ants, so I can't imagine a similar cute photo...wonder what my Grandson will do when he's old enough?

    Happy Sunday!

What handsome detectives! A child and a magnifying glass just never gets old. I have pics of Amara searching for aphids with my magnifying glass from just a few weeks ago! Cheap entertainment AND they learn something. Have a great day!

Is it scary that I immediately thought of "Lord of the Flies?" Never mind. I know the answer.

Lisa how absolutely wonderful, just love your grandchildren & their antics.

Had a great Sunday (Monday in New Zealand.) Bought new shoes for Lucy, had neighbours in for coffee, went to a plant shop for lunch then bought some plants for the garden. Lucy helped me plant cucumbers, carrots & lettuces.

Hope you had are having a wonderful Sunday Lisa. What did you do? Please share :)

That picture! How cute can you get? It's amazing how creative kids are on their own...my grandsons turn our deck chairs into "bulldozers" and couches become caves. All you needed was a magnifying glass and the proper hat and neck attire and you have a pair of ant hunters! Sometimes I wonder if I shouldn't stop pushing new toys at the kids and just let them be creative like this!

Look at the admiration and intent on Mac's face. Bit of hero worship towards his older brother? SO lovely.
