    The Saturday Post: Third-act edition

This video, at just over 11 minutes, is longer than I typically like to share. But it's well worth it, especially inspiring for those of us who are aging. And isn't that all of us?

    Today's question:

What would you most like to do in your third act?

I'm very grateful that you posted this and that I took the time to watch it. Yes, well worth it.

I can't quite figure out if I'm in the 2nd or 3rd act. Either way, I'm doing exactly what I want to do and hopefully on the staircase as described.

Nonnie Kelly: I think we are in the second. If you figure folks live to 90, the third act begins at about 60. We all have lots of time for lots of things. I'm so glad you thought it was a valuable video. I certainly did.

Definitely glad I watched it. Sure gave me a lot to think about. I have just started my 3rd act and I haven't been 100% thrilled with the directions it is going. Just got to figure out which way to turn. Lots to think about. thank you!

Thanks for the explanation, Lisa. Hmm...longevity not so great in my family..think I'll consider it my 3rd act...just in case!.

I'm well into my third act, and much of what Jane talks about sounds true for me. I am happier, less stressed, and more authentic. My favorite thing: helping grandkids discover life's possibilities. This includes trying to give the kids positive messages about their own powers and possibilities.

That was worth watching. I am approaching life's third act and believe what Jane says is true for me too. I have yet to find what I want to do with my third act but I know that I have that time to think about it. I liked what she said that having good genes will help...I hope so as my parents are in their late 70's and going strong and enjoying their lives because they are mentally and physically healthy! They are that example for me to strive for.

Thanks for the post and have a great weekend!

Having gone ten years into my Third Act, I just want to do something good and memorable for all my descendants...and not fall off that stairway and break my neck.

That's a very good question. I think I just want to be a good person. That sounds a bit lame, but if I really am a good person, everything else should fall into place. Time will tell.
