    Photo replay: Baby Mickey

Six years ago, with the nest running on empty, Jim and I adopted a new baby.

    Today's question:

Of all the pets you've had, which have been your favorites?

Holy moley. That is one CUTE puppy! He looks like the RCA dog in that pic.

And you know I can't answer that question. Gotta keep peace in the fur-family. :) (Although my first cat, Annabelle, is pretty close to the top of the list.)

Sophie girl, may she rest in peace. My 50lb what the heck kind of dog is she? We never knew. She was my girl while I was raising a house full of boys. She was dainty and feminine, and gave my knowing looks when the boys were running wild. I miss her more than any of my other pets, though I loved them all. Now we have Daisy, who is also a girl. Don't tell her that thoguh, she's too busy running wild with the boys. : - )

Scout was a shelter dog we adopted. He had heart worms but we took a chance and had him treated for it and it worked. We had him in our live for three years before cancer took him and we had to had him put down. It broke my heart. But I loved that bassett and when we would walk him all the neighbors loved how he looked like he always had a smile on his face. Even the neighbors still miss him to this day. We had gotten for the grandchildren to enjoy when they came over. But he was our baby. Now we have Odie the Jack Russell whom we adore and love very much. He is so opposite from the quiet laid back Scout. He is more rough and tumble which the boys love and Mike, but I have taught him to be more subdued with me. lol :)

Blackjack, a loving long-haired Persian, sank my soul for a long time when he was killed. My current census of two cats and two dogs take turns being my favorite now.

It is kind of like asking me which one of my children I love the most :)
I will just say we couldn't be happier with our current dog, Dodger, a sweet, scruffy, mixed breed shelter dog we adopted about a year and a half ago.

He is so adorable! Our current dog, Scout, is by far the best dog we've ever had! Years ago, before kids, we had a great calico cat called Patches she died rather young from complications of feline diabetes, but she was pretty awesome.

Cute dog! Our Alaskan Malamute "Misty" was a one of a kind, jumps right into your heart kind of dog who thought she was a person. A big dog who was dainty and lady like nonetheless. She was dominant over our much bigger male but truly sweet in her temperament. She loved to go up on her hind legs, put her front legs on our shoulders and hug us. She died unexpectedly the day my only daughter left for Trinidad. It was a horrible loss coming together like that.
