    Heart-quakes

    Happy Valentine's Day!

A sweet video to set the day's tone:

    "TV Kisses Mash Up"

"Each kiss a heart-quake..."  ~ Lord Byron, Don Juan

    Today's question:

What do you remember about your first kiss?

I was at a little community store inside my car and had just visited my friend who's dad owned the store. Mike walked up to my car and talked to me a few minutes, (first time I ever met him) and before I left leaned inside the car window and kissed me. (wow). I can honestly say I had never been kissed so sweetly as what he did. Two weeks later we got married. Yes, I knew him only two weeks and was divorced thirty days when I married him. We are now going on thirty six years of marriage and still love his kisses. :)

It was rather wet and slobbery - and I kept waiting for it to get better, but it never did! <grin>

I was babysitting and the boy across the street came over. We sat on the porch and he kissed me quite by surprise. It was nice. Then I went inside and he went home. I was 12.

JANET: I love your story. I've heard the long version and it's so sweet.

KATHY: As we used to say in Minnesota when I was young: "ISH!"

TERRI: And were the kiddos peeping out the window at you young lovebirds? Sweet memory.

    Happy Heart Day, ladies!

First kiss? I definitely remember the excess of saliva. I didn't kiss that particular fellow that many more times.

My very first kiss was soft, sweet, everything it should have been, over fifty years ago.

The only thing I remember about it is Van Halen was playing on the radio.

That was sweet. I think my favorite was Morticia and Gomez Adams. Ha! I always loved how crazy they were about each other.

My very first kiss was in a car right before play practice. It was really nice. My first kiss with Mitch was after we had spent the day at a carnival with my best friend and her boyfriend. We were standing alone on her front porch saying goodbye and *I* leaned over and kissed *him*. Couldn't help it. He was irresistible. ;-)

Fun video! My first ever kiss was my partner in my sister's wedding when I was birdesmaid-- I was an awkward 14 and he was much older..maybe 20? lol I didn't like it.

When my future husband kissed me 5 years later I knew he was "the one!"

    ♥ Happy Valentine's Day! ♥
