    Photo replay: A wish granted

Fallen leaves are hard to come by in the desert, yet Bubby had wished all autumn long for a pile of them to hide in. His wish finally came true during his Thanksgiving visit to Nebraska, where the leaves are delightfully aplenty.

    Today's question:

How many bags did you fill with raked leaves this fall?

Uh oh. This one's difficult for me to answer.

We had a ton of leaves...our leaves, our neighbors' windblown leaves, etc. However, my husband takes care of the yard work. Yep, all the leaves disappeared like a magic trick.

And I'm already looking forward to April when I'll see leaves on our trees vs. bare branches.

All my trees in the yard are tall pines; their needles are not so showy; Bubby sure looks happy in his leaf nest.

Absolutely perfect autumn picture! LOVE it. I have similar pictures of both my sons from way back when.
I racked Zero leaves. What leaves?
    Dang.

Eight bags of leaves from our yard....still waiting for all the leaves from the yards of our neighbors that did not rake up their leaves to blow into ours.

Cute picture of Bubby. Hope he had a nice visit to Nebraska.

Wonderful picture! Something Amara will probably never get to experience living her in Southern California - no leaves were raked! That is both good and bad. I do miss the colored crunchy leaves!

Oh, our house barely has any leaves... but we were just at the neighborhood park... and guess what?!!! I think our entire neighborhood's fallen leaves flew there! It was amazing! There were children there with rakes! They were raking up mounds and mounds (no kidding!) and they were burying themselves! So much fun! My camera was not cooperating, so I was unable to capture the fun. Pure joy, I tell ya! I bet the city workers are going to have loads of fun bagging those up this week. hahaha!!!

No leaves here. So feeling a bit left out. ;-)

That photo is delightful!. I remember, when my son was little, he would keep hiding in the cupboard (with the doors open) because it felt like a little room. We cleared out the lower shelves so he could have a nice big space - and I sneakily started him off on corralling his toys in that space. :D After a month or so, I never had to pick up his toys. So what if I had to give up cupboard space.

Thanks so much for sharing. Makes my day look great (it is 9 am where I live)

P.S.: I love that "author" for the comment box - I mentioned that before - and I also love the "create post" :D below.
