3 ways Pinterest made Gramma awesome

Simple, inexpensive ideas I found on Pinterest that convinced Bubby of Gramma's awesomeness:

    Shaving cream bath paints.

    Cardboard ramps for his cars.

<photo of Bubby in the tub with glow sticks removed by Lisa because perverts flocked to it>

Glow sticks in the bath tub.

    Today's question:

Do you prefer taking baths or taking showers?

Awesome shares and great ideas for the Grandkids...thanks! I need to get back to figuring out pinterest.

Prefer a nice, long bubble bath but not enough time, so it's a hot, fast shower instead.

    Confession time....I haven't showered/bathed since...no wait, I'm not ready to confess.

    Happy weekend!

I'm pretty sure that Bubby already thought Gramma was Awesome! So glad you guys are having so much fun!

As for shower versus bath -- I love bubble baths but always end up taking showers -- partly because of the long hair -- isn't easy to wash in a bath and partly because of time.

Those llittle boys will grow up knowing Gramma knows all the good stuff in the whole world! And loves sharing it with them.

Showers are just quick necessarys; bubble baths are sweet rewards.

Has pinterest sucked you in too? Isn't it amazing?!!! And showers for me please or the children would be prunes. They would love to have baths daily but they would never come out! :0 have a great weekend!!!

Those are super ideas! You're such a good grandma. I have never tried Pinterest. I would get hooked, I'm sure.

    I prefer showers.

    I am a bath person!
I love all the ideas. I keep avoiding Pinterest because I don't need anything else to use up my time, but I may have to reconsider.

Pinterest has captured my interest too. Anything to give Grandma's a helping hand to please those grandbabies. Bubby looks like he was having a great time in the bath and with his car ramp. Love the noises my grandsons make when they are playing with cars and trucks.
As for taking a shower or tub bath, I must say I am partial to both. After getting a quick shower to clean myself I like to soak in a nice warm bath to relax and reflect.

Showers for us, though a nice soak in a bath would be lovely. Thanks for the beautiful photos. Enjoy your weekend Lisa.

I shower unless I have to shave my legs, because I still don't have the hang of doing that in the shower. Then when I do break down and take a lovely bath, I wonder why I waited so long! If I buy some glow sticks to play with in the tub, I'll probably never get out!

I've got the bathtub glow sticks on my grandma wish list too. So the colored shaving creams causes no harm to the tub or grout?

I love taking baths for relaxation but it is usually a quick shower to get the job done!

I miss the long soaks in a bubble bath. My knees won't let me get up once I'm in the tub! :(
In tomorrow's blog post, I say I have a love/hate relationship with Pinterest!

You are an awesome gramma! Thanks for the Pinterest link.

I shower and take baths. I prefer baths. I get cold showering. I like to soak for awhile when I have time. I can keep adding hot water if I need to. A hot tub would be wonderful!

Showers for me and an occasional lovely lavender bubble bath. Love the ideas for the kids and plan to steal them for our upcoming trip to the grands. Thanks!
