I went to a lecture on mindful eating last spring on the UVM campus. I also had my mammogram at the University Health Centerlast week. I can't drive into Burlington (VT) without going past the campus. Students are so young looking these days. Actually, even the professors are kind of young looking these days.
My own college campus days were nearly fifty years ago but, more recently, I've been privileged to go to graduations for grand-daughters, in Pueblo, Colorado and Nebraska. Whoop De Doo!
Very cute!
I was "virtually" on campus this morning. Hawaii Pacific University. hehe
A campus in person? Uh, can't even remember.
With that super wagon, Mommy should run with the kids ridinf along.
I took Tio to Boston last summer and we walked around the Harvard Campus.
Cute pic!
I was on the campus of Western State College, Gunnison, CO a couple of years ago watching my son graduate! It was awesome.
Last year I visited my granddaughter at college. Great fun! And she's been on the honor roll for two semesters. Even better!
I love that photo.
The last time I was on a university campus was in 2005 when I drove a vehicle full of my daughter's stuff home after she graduated.
We are not far from CU, so I am on that campus from time to time (fortunately I wasn't there for yesterday's game).
Good for your daughter for running the 10k. My youngest daughter was training for a half marathon that she was supposed to run this month but she got a stress fracture in her foot and ended up in a boot for a month or so. She is now planning to do a half in January, but we'll see.
It has been about 18 months ago. My husband and I walked the beautiful grounds of NAU in Flagstaff, AZ. My father had built some of the buildings there many years ago. I really took in the details of the architecture and the grounds so that I could share them with my 90 year old father who is now blind. We also had lunch at a family owned mexican place right near the campus that my father ate at twice a day the entire time he was working there. The original owner of the restaurant who is also around 90 was there sitting at one of the tables. He would get up and go to the kitchen every time an order of sopapilla's was ordered. That was still his job. I of course took some time to visit with him. Can you tell I am very sentimental?
Wow a 10k race!!! Congrats to your daughter for being in such good shape!
I pass by NYU a lot but it really doesn't have a campus per se.--the city is it's campus. Someday I will have to show Brooklyn College on my blog --my husband and i are alumni. It has a very pretty campus for an urban college.
I love that photo too!
My son goes to Salt Lake Community College. He is on the Dean's List and I'm very proud. I took him to school a few times while his car was in the shop. Head gaskets. Ugh!
