    The Saturday Post: Puzzling edition

It's Saturday. There are chores to do, of course, but I sure don't feel like doing any of them. Do you?

I have the perfect remedy. Actually, Beverly of How Sweet The Sound, provided the perfect remedy. Each week, Beverly posts a puzzle for her "Puzzle Friday." As many of you know, I love puzzles. So after seeing how calm, cool and relaxing it is on her site, I decided to copy Beverly and post a puzzle here today. For all of us to do. Instead of doing our chores.

So here it is. Kick back, relax, and connect the pieces to find yourself floating along on a tiny boat, adrift somewhere in the Italian mountains. Ah, sounds so much better than laundry and dusting, wouldn't you say?

If you're relaxation-challenged and really must consider the time clock accompanying the puzzle, go ahead. I didn't rush (the point is to relax) and clocked in at 14:38.

    Today's question:

What was your time on the puzzle? (It's not a race; that's just the only relevant question I can think of in this relaxed state. Plus, in all honesty, I just want to see if you really did the puzzle or not.)

I didn't TRY to do it. All the pieces looked exactly alike and doing the puzzle looked a lot harder to do than just doing my little household chores. Sorry.

I'm at McDonalds with the kids wailing their way through the play pen. This may be the only time I get today to write and catch up. I know - it sounds like an excuse for the OCD club.

My time was 11:59. Now I'm noticing that my shoulders are tense. A cardboard puzzle on a table, I can relax. Anything online, I start trying to compete. Not well, of course...if I recall, the site says the best time was under three minutes!

Fun!! I love puzzles. Emma and I did one over Christmas break. I finished that one in 15:20. Thanks for the fun break from chores! Now it's back to Sweet 16 birthday party prep for my darling daughter!

Last time I looked I was at 14:15 - I finished it quickly once I realized that it was a lot smaller than the board. :) Thanks for the few minutes to relax.

That's funny...I put an actual jigsaw puzzle on the table this week and everyone has been coming over working on it! I'm going to try the one you posted now!

Thanks for ruining my day. Those briefs at the top of the page just did the trick.

    :) :)

Dang, just got on here this evening, and already drinking my favorite wine......so I'm not going to stress myself out with a puzzle. I am terrible with those kinds of puzzles. But I'm glad you enjoyed it! LOL.
Hope your Saturday went well and your Sunday is even better. We went to Borders book store today.........and for me, that's a little slice of heaven. So I'm good.

    HUGS,
    Terri
