The Saturday Post
So I thought I was doing pretty well on the fitness front by walking my dogs most days. Until I saw this video. Now it's oh-so clear that I've got nothing -- absolutely NOTHING, not even one single step -- on these marathon-running grandmas.
You gotta see this video. As Megan wrote when she sent me the link to it, "It's incredible what a little exercise will help you accomplish even in your 70s!"
Wow, Wow and WOW, wouldn't you say?!
Have a fantabulous Labor Day weekend!
Today's question:
What's on your schedule for the long weekend?

I'm so inspired by these marathon grandma's, there's a couple in my neighborhood. I'm so pleased at this stage of the game that I can get up and hike 4 miles a day - that ain't tooo shabby, but maybe in my dreams . . .
So excited about our Labor Day weekend, so much fun planned, then our youngest is back to college for the year.

I'm not inspired, I'm jealous! But then again, if I run (no, walk...slowly) to the end of my driveway, to get the mail, that's enough to satisfy me. I have to conserve strength to feed two dogs and two cats, make the bed, take out trash, vacuum and dust, get clothes washed and dry, folded and put away, wash kitchen and bathroom floors, cook a meal or two,...gads, I'm exhausted thinking about it!
Just taking it easy Sat. and Sun. then on Mon. we are taking my daughter and granddaughter to the Colorado Rockies game vs Cincinnati Reds. Should be fun!
mowed down that huge basket of ironing! Exciting, I know :-)
