    The Saturday Post

I'm having a pizza dinner party tonight and thought it would be so cool if I could impress my guests with my pizza-dough-throwing ability. I give it a shot each time I make homemade pizza (using this pizza dough recipe) but usually give up after one or two spins that don't really spin at all.

My goal, which obviously won't be met by tonight's pizza-making time, is to spin the dough like this guy:

Although, the germaphobe in me can think of nothing more than how absolutely disgusting it would be to eat a pizza made by the guy above (who works at Pizza Pizza in Toronto) as I'm sure it's filled with myriad microscopic yechy blechs!

My pizza tonight won't be thrown, but at least it'll be clean ... and good!

    Today's question:

What are you having for dinner tonight?

Ooh! Good question. We had pizza last night at a special event, so probably something a little healthier tonight. Maybe fish. Although, at 7:50 in the morning, I'm mostly thinking about what to have for breakfast. Good luck with the dough throwing, Lisa!

It amazes me to see someone "throw" dough like that and no I would not want to eat that particular crust either!

Last night my family had pizza, I had strawberries, almonds and wine... Tonight we will all have steak!

Lisa, do NOT sling your pizza dough; that's just plain nasty.

I'll probably have bacon and eggs; David's working late and said he will not want supper, that I should make myself something easy.

Wow! That's just amazing! I wonder how many hours he had to practice to do that. Is there a pizza throwing championship because surely he would win.

Not sure about dinner yet. We'll probably decide in the car with the whole, "What do you want to eat? I don't know. What do you want?" conversation.

Isn't that crazy cool! What's even crazier is that there's actually a United States Pizza Team that competes doing this kind of thing. Check 'em out: www.uspizzateam.com.

Tammy: Love the Friday night dinner! :o)

Mexican casserole....a super yummy Weight Watchers recipe!

I have faith that you can accomplish this feat but it may take years of practice.
