My, what a difference a year makes!

    Bubby, May 4, 2009

    Today's (unrelated) question:

If you had to name your dumbest purchase ever, what would it be?

My answer: A hot tub ... that we rarely used. Ended up with a different hot tub at our current house, too. And we never use it -- even though we keep adding chemicals and keep it warm. Yeah, dumb.

I love all that adorable chubbiness of bubby!

Wow, I really need to think about today's question! We had a hot tub at our old house that we used all the time and I really wish we had one here... We had a pool table (other house too) that I never used, but my husband and the kids did... I just can't think of anything that fits the "that was a really dumb purchase" category.

I hired a landscape architect to create a blueprint for a drainage system for my yard. It cost $979.00. It was stupid because it would take thousands of dollars to implement the plan, and since I am a public school teacher, I don't ever have thousands of dollars. Therefore, it was a very stupid purchase. We live and learn, I suppose.
