REMINDER: Cookies going once ... twice ...

Just a quick reminder that today, March 31, is the last day you can enter for a chance to win a dozen or so homemade chocolate chip cookies. All you have to do to enter is submit a quote for the Quotable Grandmas feature.

So if your grandma, your mom (if she's a grandmother), your favorite fictional grandma or a grandma you read about in the news said something inspirational or awe-inspiring, send it my way. Be sure to include the name of the grandma and your source (if it's a quote you found via media of any sort), and be sure to send it by midnight tonight.

I'll draw the winner tomorrow and get to baking the cookies for shipping the winner's way.

Can't think of one to send today? There's always the April contest. Just keep an ear out for quotable quips from grandmothers then zap it to me any time so I can add it to the ever-growing list.

Now back to our regularly scheduled programming ...

I'll do almost anything for homemade chocolate chip cookies. I sent you my quote.
