    This is the end

For Bubby's first Halloween, Megan dressed her precious little Bubby, then just over four months old, as the most huggable of elephants:

For Bubby's second Halloween, Megan dressed her still precious little Bubby as the most adorable of ducks:

For Bubby's third Halloween, yesterday, Megan wanted to continue with the theme of cute little animals. Bubby (and Preston) had a different idea -- and a little more input this year.

So, despite Megan's wish for continued cute and cuddly costumes, the still precious Bubby dressed instead as a ...

... tough little boxer, complete with sneers of "Ya wanna fight?!" accompanied by hits of the mits together!

So much for cuddly. Although, if you ask this grandma, the growing-too-quickly boy is still pretty darn cute.

Such is parenting, Megan. All good things surely must come to an end.

Fortunately, good things of another sort are always right there, just waiting to take its place.

    Today's question:

It's the first of November -- what do you most look forward to this month? What do you least look forward to?

He's *still* adorable! I bet he had lots of hugs, despite being tough in his boxing get-up!

November. Looking forward to Thanksgiving :-) A no-frills, laid-back holiday. Looking forward to trying to think of one thing daily to post on facebook - a "Thankful" project- posting one thing that you are thankful for, instead of complaining. A challenge, to be sure - we take so much for granted.

So cute. He is a sweetie.:-) Maybe he's fed up with animals and wants to be more realistic.:-) I love his facial expression on the last picture.:-)

Well, now...Megan is going to see that "Boys will be boys", including Preston. Bubby is STILL cute but he's all boy now.

    Hi Lisa;
That elephant costume on Bubby is the cutest thing I ever saw! Soooooo cute.

Looking forward to the most: Trip to Atlanta for Thanksgiving to see my family

Looking forward to least: The plane ride.

    Have a great week!

    What a gorgeous little boy!!
    Love the snarly face! Ha!
Yes, they do grow too fast.

I look forward to more days at the gym.
I don't look forward to more days at the gym.
(It depends on what days you ask me. :)

I love that duck costume! Looking forward to seeing my parents in Las Vegas this month and to Thanksgiving with my kids and granddaughter. Not looking forward to the changing of the weather.

What a cutie he is, no matter what he wears! I am most looking forward to Thanksgiving. It is my favorite holiday. I am least looking forward to the shorter days. It's depressing when it gets darker earlier and colder. Have a great day-

Forgot to tell you what I'm looking forward to in November: My Mother's 99th b'day, Shazia's 22nd b'day (same day!), twins Ravenn & Coltan b'day (they'll be 15) and Thanksgiving...like Tanya, tho', I'm NOT looking forward to shorter days and cold.

Bubby looks adorable in each costume! This was Halloween # 2 for my grandson and he wanted to be a fireman. My daughter-in-law had purchased a dinosaur costume for him to wear when he said he wanted to be that a couple weeks ago, but when the big day came he wanted his fireman's hat and firetruck instead. :)

I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving! I use to cook the holiday for over 30 family members but now our celebration has become much smaller as some relatives have retired and moved away form NYC. I still like to make a big turkey so we have lots of leftovers and I also soup from the carcass.

He looks like a contender. He has the facial look down cold.

The do go from cuddly elephants to boxers way too fast. He is sure a cute little boxer though.
Like others, I am looking forward to Thanksgiving. I am not looking forward to snow.

I love the elephant. Looking forward to Thanksgiving with the family, dread the cleanup.

What an adorable little boy! And those costumes are precious. Especially loving the elephant.

A typical boy! Next year it will be action heroes! Tge costumes are too cute! I'm always looking forward to the next visit from my granddaughter. What am I least looking forward to? Maybe Christmas shopping and my brain freezing when trying to think what to buy everyone.
