    Fave photo of the week

"I'm not gonna smile. You can't make me, you can't make me, you can't make me!"

Today's question from the "Loaded Questions" board game:

What is the last book you read?

I just finished "The Ice Queen: A Novel" by Alice Hoffman. I'm now reading "The Man Who Loved Books Too Much: The True Story of a Thief, a Detective, and a World of Literary Obsession" by Allison Hoover Bartlett.

I love that photo! I'm betting it shows a little bit of Bubby's personality.

I just finished reading a wonderful book call The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. I just started readingl The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova that I'm already hooked on.

Tammy: This *does* show his personality. He can be a hard-headed little kid sometimes ... just like his mom (and dad)! I loved the Historian. I'll have to look for The Shadow of the Wind.

Tracey: I actually thought of you when I typed the question -- I can't imagine you'd have any time to read with construction and adoption and renovation of the blog and who knows what other -tions you got going on.

Melyssa: Happy New Year to you, too! I've not read the Twilight series ... but my daughters have! :o)

Lisa...I actually laughed out loud at this picture. He is SO cute in his stubbornness!

Just got finished reading The Memory Keeper's Daughter. Next up is I Know This Much is True by Wally Lamb.
