    Fave photo of the week

Yep, this truly is my favorite little boy in the whole entire world!

Today's question from the Zobmondo "Would You Rather...?" board game:

Would you rather live forever as a 13-year-old -OR- as a 65-year-old?

I think I'd rather live forever as a 65-year-old. For one thing, you can't legally drink as a 13-year-old -- and although I'm not a lush by any means, I do like a drink now and then -- but more importantly, the older I get, the more comfortable I am in my (saggier and wrinklier by the minute) skin. As a 13-year-old, I was so horribly shy and uncomfortable and unsure of myself. I'd never want to be 13 again.

Hi Lisa and thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment! One of my favorite things about having BlogHer ads on my blog, is that it brings new readers to my blog. :) I'm so glad you stopped by and I am a bit relieved to hear of others in a similar situation as mine, marriage-wise. I am adding your blog to my blogroll!

Oh and about your "would you rather" question... i am so with you. I wouldn't be 13 again for all the tea in China. Being 13 was the absolute worst year of my life. I think we could solve the terrorism problem once and for all, if we put all the terrorists in a room with a bunch of 13 year old girls! Forget waterboarding; this would be much, much worse! Ha!

I am looking forward to becoming blog buddies! :) Big hugs.

Your little Bubby is so totally adorable!

I would NEVER want to be 13 again!

I can so why it's your favorite. He is adorable.
My answer is 65, unless I could have the wisdom I have today in a 13 year old body!

I'm with you -- 65 for sure, for all the same reasons. Who'd want to be 13 again? Ugh. Just thinking about it makes me shudder.

    Bubby is just the cutest!

Definitely 65 for the same reasons as everyone else. I was miserable at 13!

Hey Midlife Mama, thanks for stopping by! I, too, look forward to bonding through blogs with you!

I find it interesting that NONE of us want to return to the age of 13. That says a lot about how horrible life is for teen girls, if we all feel the same way. Seems to be some sort of societal problem that we should be addressing, but I just can't even wrap my head around that late on a Sunday evening.

I would never want to be 13 again also - hee! Who would want to repeat any of those teenage years. Although I'm not crazy about turning 50 this year, I guess I'd have to go with 65. Retired, not working, traveling, visiting the kids and grandkids - yep, for me it beats 13 :)

Now THAT is one adorable little Bubby! What a perfect picture!

65 for sure. If I were 13, I wouldn't have any of my girls and I can't even think of my life without them.

Now, if you could give me my 18 year-old body with my 65 year-old experience, sign me up!!!

    LOL! Great question.

Cute photo! Are you kidding me? Totally as a 65 year old, as long as I am healthy. 13 sucked as I recall...all emotional and thinking the world was against me. No thanks!

65 hands down. 13 started my very self-conscious awkward period. I never again want to go through that.
