    Friday Haiku Contest Winner!

I hope everyone had a filling -- and fulfilling -- Thanksgiving!

This is the last Friday Haiku Contest winner for November, and it's the first man to win the contest! Yay! Here is the winning entry:

    Drops of moisture flow
    Seeping in a healing land
    Gather deep below

    ~ James

    Congratulations, James!

And, no, this is not from my husband of the same name. My Jim/James says he doesn't even understand how to do a haiku (I think he just doesn't want to join us), but James the winner regularly posts heartwarming haikus on his blog, Touching Leaves.

For sharing his haiku with us, James has been awarded the Betty and Veronica Spectacular, No. 498. This, ladies and gentlemen, is the swimsuit edition.

Okay, okay. So it's the swimsuit SHOPPING edition. But still very cool and still ready and waiting for James. Contact me, James, to claim your prize.

The competition is heating up, so be sure to check out this week's Friday Haiku Contest and pen your own punny, poignant or poetic haiku to be in the running for a nifty prize of your very own.
