    Friday Haiku Contest Winner!

The theme word for last week's Friday Haiku Contest was COOL and the following entry was the coolest of all, making Gina the winner of the October 2 edition of the Friday Haiku Contest! Her so-cool-it's-hot haiku:

    Thick blue fog descends,
    I drop the record needle
    on “Birth of the Cool.”

     ~ Gina

    Congratulations, Gina!

Going along with the theme of "cool," your prize features those cool cats Betty and Veronica in the Betty and Veronica Spectacular, No. 482 -- the one where that little vixen Betty makes the moves on an unsuspecting Archie in the pool!

Yay! Woot, woot! E-mail me at lisa@grandmasbriefs.com to claim your prize!

Each and every one of you reading about Gina's grand fortune earned for her haiku skills can be considered for the next Friday Haiku Contest winner if -- and only if -- you enter the next Friday Haiku Contest! All details can be found by clicking HERE.
